Disneyland Paris has made history by selling out its new park’s opening day. Walt Disney Studios Park will soon be reborn as “Disney Adventure World”, with a grand relaunch scheduled for March 29, 2026. That date will coincide with the debut of the much-anticipated World of Frozen and the rest of the expansive Adventure Way area. According to DLP Report (and confirmed by WDW News Today), all single-day tickets and Annual Pass entries for March 29 are already completely sold out. In fact, by the time of the announcement, even the park’s Bronze Passholders were blocked out of that date. Only higher-tier Silver and Gold Passholders may still hope to find last-minute inventory, likely via special previews (DLP reports that passholder previews will occur in advance of the public opening).

In practical terms, this means Disneyland Paris’ fans will not be able to buy a ticket for that first official day. The complete sell-out underscores the incredible demand for the new park experience. Visitors can expect special opening-day festivities: the park will feature new rides like Olaf’s Scary Adventures in the Frozen area (with a “living” Olaf animatronic), the Tangled-themed ride and restaurant in Adventure World, and more. The Adventure Bay lagoon will debut a new night show called “Disney Cascade of Lights.” (Also planned later: a Lion King inspired land.) But the big news for guests right now is that plans to attend on March 29 must have been made long ago, because every spot is taken.

Along with the renaming to Disney Adventure World, Disneyland Paris has been rolling out a major rebranding effort. On opening day all existing attractions and shows in Walt Disney Studios Park will operate under the new Adventure World identity. The park map is being updated, and marketing materials now invite guests to explore “Adventure World — More than a Park, a Universe of Adventure.” DLRP also notes that Adventure World includes Mickey and friends, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel elements across the new layout. For those with tickets or passes, March 29 will have media events and an exclusive nighttime show to commemorate the park’s transformation. There will be numerous ribbon cuttings, and guests will be able to meet characters like Elsa and Olaf in elaborate new settings.

Behind the scenes, Disney now offers a second-chance reservation system for locals and passholders hoping to get in if any tickets are released. But at the time of writing, Disneyland Paris confirms that March 29, 2026 is fully booked. This is an unprecedented situation for the resort – on opening day of Disneyland Paris in 1992, tickets were nearly gone, but that park opened on a weekend (April 12) and days in advance were still available. By contrast, selling out on day one like this shows how hot the demand is. It remains to be seen whether this trend continues for dates in early April or the summer. The situation underscores that fans are enthusiastic about the park’s new identity.

In any case, Disneyland Paris has a message: the Adventure World grand opening is poised to be a historic and joyful event. Guests can look forward to world-class entertainment and a fresh park experience, even if many missed the chance to join on day one.
