Behind the Wish was born from a lifelong love of Disney and a lot of quiet encouragement I ignored for far too long.

For years, friends and family have come to me for help with Disney trips.
“How do I book this?”
“When should we go?”
“Can you just look over our plan?”

And almost every time, someone would say, “You should really do something with this.”

I always laughed it off.

Not because I didn’t love it but because I didn’t think I could. I convinced myself it wasn’t realistic, that I wasn’t qualified enough, that it was easier to help everyone else than take my own advice. Looking back, I realise I was very good at creating my own roadblocks.

Behind the Wish is me finally stepping around them.

It’s the result of years of Disney knowledge, countless conversations, and a decision to start listening to the same advice I’ve always given others, start small, be intentional, and trust what you already know.

This space isn’t about selling the dream of “doing everything.” It’s about understanding how Disney actually works, behind the scenes, behind the timing, behind the moments that quietly shape the experience.

Everything I share here is the same advice I give to friends, family, and use for our own travels, thoughtful, honest, and genuinely rooted in experience.
